Rule of thirds

In today's lesson we learnt about one very important filming technique that we always have to think about when filming. We learnt about 'the thirds rule'. The rule of thirds is a concept in video and film production in which the frame is divided into nine imaginary sections. This creates reference points which act as guides for framing the image.Below I have included a video which I found helpful with understanding the thirds rule.
